- Joining the project titled: “New technology for hydrogen and geopolymer composites production from post-mining waste” (acronym H2GEO) under the Coal and Steel Research Fund.
- Signing a Consortium Agreement between Haldex S.A. and Holding KW Sp. z o.o., for the establishment of a facility for the recovery of mining waste in the area of the Central Mining Waste Disposal Site in Knurów, owned by Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa S.A.
- Obtaining the Certificate according to EN 1090-1:A1:2011 standard – Welded and bolted steel structural components in execution class up to EXC3.kWp.
- Receiving the “Trustworthy Company” Certificate again in the next year of professional activity.

- Launch of a new slurry granulation installation located at the KWK Knurów – Szczygłowice R site – “Szczygłowice”.
- Conducting vocational training for students from the Vocational School Complex No. 2 in Knurów at the Knurów – FOCH Repair Facility under signed internship agreements, as well as providing professional internships for students from the aforementioned school at the Knurów – FOCH Repair Facility under signed tripartite internship agreements.

2021
- Signing of a Letter of Intent with Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa for the continuation and expansion of cooperation regarding the technical and biological reclamation of areas transformed by mining activities, as well as the initiation of other joint ventures, taking into account the technical and organizational potential of both parties.
- Signing of a Tripartite Agreement for the establishment of a patronage class in Knurów between HALDEX S.A., the Gliwice County Office, and the Vocational School Complex No. 2 in Knurów. The first year of professional internships for students from the Vocational School Complex No. 2 in Knurów at the Knurów – FOCH Repair Facility under the signed tripartite internship agreements.

February 4, 2020 – HALDEX S.A. merges with Kompanijne Zakłady Remontowe “REMASZ” Sp. z o.o. under Article 492 § 1 point 1 of the Commercial Companies Code. Upon registration of the merger with HALDEX S.A., Kompanijne Zakłady Remontowe “REMASZ” Sp. z o.o. ceases to exist.
As a result of the acquisition of Kompanijne Zakłady Remontowe “REMASZ” Sp. z o.o.,
HALDEX S.A. expands its business profile to include the following services:

- Mining waste site management,
- Operation of mechanical coal processing lines,
- Comprehensive workshop welding and locksmith services for mines and other entities,
- Operation of hoisting equipment,

- Services related to the installation and repair of central heating, water and sewage systems, and hot water systems,
- Ongoing maintenance services for mining facilities (lamp room, warehouse, pump station, sewage treatment plant, etc.),

Energy Management System – In 2020, HALDEX S.A. implemented an Energy Management System compliant with ISO 50001 at both the HALDEX facilities and the company’s headquarters and appointed a Management Board Representative for the Energy Management System (EMS).

Obtaining the Certificate according to PN-EN ISO 3834-2:2007 standard for compliance with welding process quality requirements.

Obtaining the Qualification Certificate according to PN-M-69009 and inclusion in Group I of Small Enterprises. This Group allows the performance of welding work for the execution, assembly, and repair of welded steel structures 1, 2, and 3 according to PN-M-69008 and building steel structures according to PN-B-06200, made of non-alloy steel, low and high alloy steel, as well as aluminum, copper, and their alloys, using the following welding methods:

- MAG with solid wire electrode in active gas shield (135),
- TIG with solid wire addition (141),
- Manual arc welding with coated electrodes (111),
- MAG welding with flux-cored wire (138),

- As a result of the acquisition of Kompanijne Zakłady Remontowe “REMASZ” Sp. z o.o., intensive efforts have begun to restore the technical potential of the acquired company.
- Creation of a Welding Training and Examination Center at the Knurów – FOCH Repair Facility.
- Signing of a Letter of Intent with Gliwice County regarding the establishment of a patronage class at the Vocational School Complex No. 2 in Knurów to launch a new educational path for welding technicians.
- Launch of four photovoltaic installations – in Zabrze (1 installation with an installed capacity of 27.84 kWp), in Mysłowice (1 installation with an installed capacity of 49.95 kWp), in Knurów (1 installation with an installed capacity of 49.28 kWp, and 1 installation with an installed capacity of 49.4 kWp).
- Commencement of the construction of a photovoltaic farm in Zabrze with a target capacity of 2,000 kWp.
2019
- In April 2019, the Company celebrates 60 years of existence.
The mission and primary task of the Company remains the recovery of valuable raw materials from the material extracted from active mining operations and stockpiles, followed by their waste-free processing into certified products for reuse. Haldex S.A.’s activities restore the utility or natural value to degraded and devastated lands, enabling their socio-economic use.
- In 2019, Haldex S.A. significantly expanded its machinery fleet.
The purchase of equipment also allows for the expansion of the range of services through the possibility of equipment rental and heavy machinery and vehicle service provided by the Company’s own professionally equipped service vehicle at the work site or in case of equipment failure.
- White certificates – An important action for the Company in 2019 was the implementation of energy audits, aimed at identifying and planning projects to improve energy efficiency and submitting a request to the Energy Regulatory Office for the issuance of property rights to “white certificates.”
- Photovoltaics – In 2019, the Company expanded its services related to the installation and full execution of photovoltaic installations. Ten Haldex S.A. employees were trained and received qualifications as PV installers. The Company carried out its first projects with a capacity of up to 50 kW at its processing plants in Zabrze, Mysłowice, and later Knurów.

The company signs a Letter of Intent with JSW S.A. to establish the terms of cooperation in the implementation of the Central Mining Waste Disposal Site in Knurów.

2014
55th Anniversary and a time for reflections. Over the course of 55 years, Haldex has processed approximately 160 million tons of waste. If all of this waste were loaded onto a train, it would consist of 3 million coal cars and stretch as long as the equator.
From this waste, the company has managed to recover, among other things, 19 million tons of coal, nearly 17 million tons of crushed stone for the ceramic and cement industries, 75 million tons of crushed stone for backfill, 13 million tons for engineering works, and 5.0 million tons of light sintered aggregates / shale rubble.

2012
As a result of the completion of the NFOŚ program, the “Panewniki” facility begins its operations. Spread over an area of 4 hectares, the modern, containerized mobile installations can process 6,300 tons of waste per day, which is twice as much as the Michał Facility, which is five times larger.
2011
BioCarbohumus is created, a high-quality anthropogenic soil for use in biological reclamation. This is the result of the company’s collaboration with the Agricultural University of Kraków.
2008
Preparations for the development of mobile containerized installations, portable crushing and sorting plants capable of operating anywhere. The project is co-financed by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚ).
2007
The Hungarian share package of Haldex S.A. is acquired by Kompania Węglowa S.A. This way, it takes control over the company, which has been acting as the operator for the management of mining waste from mines owned by Kompania since 2008, within the capital group.
2006
The introduction of in-house control of aggregate production in accordance with the applicable standards. For products not covered by standards, Haldex obtains technical approvals issued by the Road and Bridge Research Institute in Warsaw.
2005
The governments of Poland and Hungary sign a protocol ending the validity of the intergovernmental agreement. The company operated under general principles in accordance with the provisions of the Commercial Companies Code.
2003
Launch of the first granulator as part of the sludge granulation program.
2002
Implementation of the first containerized technology installation and the establishment of CTL Haldex.
1992
For outstanding achievements in the fields of environmental protection, water management, geology, forestry, and nature conservation, Prof. Dr. Hab. Eng. Stefan Kozłowski, Minister of Environmental Protection, Natural Resources, and Forestry of the Republic of Poland, awards the company a first-degree prize.
1989
After the political transformation, in response to the need for enhancing energy fines with low parameters, the company expanded its technology to include the production of coal concentrates.
1980
The Coal Waste Processing Plant in Mysłowice-Brzezinka is put into operation.
1971
The second stage of the company’s development begins with the signing of an annex to the intergovernmental agreement, which provides for the establishment of a lightweight aggregate plant in Mysłowice and Siemianowice Śląskie.
1968
The total production capacity of all plants reaches approximately 12,000 tons of processed material per day from dumps and current production. Each manager and specialist on the Polish side has an equal Hungarian counterpart at the plants.
1967
Another company plant, “Rokitnica,” is being established in Zabrze.
1965
A plant called “Dymitrow” is being established in Bytom.
1962
The third company plant, “Makoszowy,” is being established in Zabrze.
1961
At the “Michał” mine in Siemianowice Śląskie, a pilot processing plant of Haldex is being established on an area of 19 hectares. Its capacity is 3,200 tons of waste per day. The results obtained here will serve as the basis for determining the location and capacity of future plants.
1959
The governments of the Polish People’s Republic and the People’s Republic of Hungary sign an agreement in Budapest to establish the joint-stock company Haldex, which is registered in the pre-war RHB company register.
