Application of Coal Shale

🤝 Cooperation to explore the possibilities of using coal shale for the production of scarce silicas, known as pozzolans.

👉 Our project, carried out together with Łukasiewicz – Instytut Ceramiki i Materiałów Budowlanych / Institute of Ceramics & Building Materials, Polska Grupa Górnicza S.A., and Holding KW, may revolutionize the management of mining waste.

🔬 Together, we will develop processing technologies for gangue rock and conduct research on coal shale transformation. At #Haldex, we plan to create a dedicated installation with a rotary kiln for the production of pozzolans.

🍃 The use of waste materials brings not only economic benefits but also significantly reduces the negative impact of stored waste on the natural environment.
